Hölle Games invites competitors to make use of their German market “Bonus Spin” mechanic for free - with one studio already accepting the offer
In a potentially unprecedented industry move, the CEO of Hölle Games, Robert Lenzhofer, has issued an open invitation to other slot gaming studios and providers to copy and utilise the “Bonus Spin” mechanic which the Berlin-based company had developed specifically for the German market. Lenzhofer assures studios that using the mechanic will not result in any legal repercussions from Hölle Games, and is offering it essentially for free.
The start-up slots developer has been vocal about their efforts in “giving the spins back to Germany”, after the new tax landscape from July 1st caused substantial changes to game offerings, including longer spins and a max stake cap. Their pioneering “Bonus Spin” functionality was a solution to this, allowing players a more entertaining experience and higher xRTP (experienced RTP). Hölle Games believe that the more slot providers who use the mechanic, the better for both the operator and the player, as it is a consistent solution designed for both gaming enjoyment and reduced tax exposure.
